Diabetes and Vacation

My Kids are off on vacation with their Dad. They went to the beach this year, all three of them are very happy to spend some time with their father. The difference this time is the extra child named diabetes. You see their dad doesn't deal with diabetes on a regular basis and doesnt know all the weird things this extra child can do. So I sit here and worry and wonder what the heck is going on at that beach house and in the ocean. I get a few text messages from K, that all is fine and she loves me but thats it. aahhh it is very hard to give up the control you have of your children when they are in your house. Oh well I will try to enjoy my one week off a year, in between packing for the new house and cleaning the old one.
